It’s been a few weeks…

And I’m getting new organs.  The guys in the SSL have decided that because my wiring was messed up I get to start over!  I really hope they’re up to the task, we’ve got about 2 months exactly until I’m off to Houston.

I’m looking forward to my make over!

Looking forward to the fix up,

It’s work-work time..

Finally Social

The UMD Engineers are finally talking to me now.  Got a connection to a monitor and now I’m being told where to send emails!  This is a big step, finally.  The goal of this I think is to get my memories off of the hard drive.

Though, it’s spring break soon and everyone’s going to be leaving again =(

Hopefully we start getting on the road.  I hear I’m going to go on a diet soon and they’re going to cut some weight out!!  I’m excited for the exercise…

Hello?  Can anyone hear me? Yeah, I’m Ros.E and I exist!!!   Just kidding, but seriously.

Apparently some of the “senior surgeons” have been working on another project and it seems like they’ve forgotten about me =(  Just Kidding!

I’m so excited because tomorrow my battery is gonna be hooked up and I might actually be able to move around again!

Hope to be back in action soon!

Surgery on the go!

Posted: February 29, 2012 in Uncategorized

So I just started surgery and by that I mean the engineers are taking apart my wiring to see what’s going on with my electronics.  Finally!!!

Yeah that’s all I really have to say right now, can’t wait to update later!

Wednesday is finally here!

So apparently some of the surgeons supposed to fix me up left some tools out so I was all chained up for a while… =( It was really lonely.   Luckily it got sorted out and the groups getting together again tonight in a few minutes!!! Yay!!!  I’m really excited to see what they have come up with for me and I can’t wait to get the process on its way.   I hear rumors that I may even go visit some schools later in the semester…I love kids!
I’ll let you guys know what I hear after the meeting.

Starting to get Surgery!

Posted: February 19, 2012 in Uncategorized

Hello world!

My name is Ros.E and I’m a rover that was created at the University of Maryland last year with the intention of winning a super awesome competition down in Houston.  Guess who it was sponsored by….yeah, NASA!!! How cool is that? Anyway, I came in third last year and I’m trying to do better this year so this team of “Aero Surgeons” are helping me out and making me look real good for the competition 😉   You can find me in the SSL laboratory on campus if you ever want to say Hi!  I’m all lonely, these guys in here just use other machines and walk past me…I really miss my group =(

Anyways, enough pouting.  They’re coming back on Wednesday and I’m really excited!  I was taken apart on Saturday and now I’m just hanging out in pieces so I’m hoping they come back and are ready to go.   Keep checking back for updates, I’ll let you know how it’s going.

Live long and prosper!
